If you have been to the Philippines and walked in its many streets, you won’t miss the various street foods that are ready to eat.  The country is famous for its “ballot,” the egg of a native duck that is boiled.  Sold hot, juicy, and loaded with its yolk, egg white, and its fetus.  It’s being shouted out in the streets every night.  It is widely described as a nearly developed embryo of a duck egg that is boiled and served hot eaten with its shell.  It is reach in calcium and protein and is the favorite Asian delicacy.  Fish balls, squid balls, kikiam and hotdogs are deep fried sold being cued on stick when cooked by the customers.  There are sauces for dipping.  Some like it hot while others prefer sweet and sour.  Sago gulaman is the paired drinks sold iced cold.   There are many more foods that are offered.  Drop by a street vendor when you visit the Philippines and see what suits your taste.
